Your Heart’s A Warrior was created while on retreat at one of my favorite places on earth - The Redwoods Abby tucked in an old growth redwood forest in Northern California. This drawing has a poem, The Annunciation, by John O’Donohue written out as the first layer of this drawing/painting, then came some taping and layers of graphite and acrylic paint. When dried the tape was pulled and reveals some of the letters and words from O’Donohue’s poem. See the detail image.
